there is a nest in the backyard next to ours and about a week ago the mama dove's babies hatched. the mother dove feeds her babies like penguins feed theirs. they are about 2/3 quarters her size so their big.i think they will be learning to fly soon because the mama dove has been leaving them alone today (coming back and forth to the nest). she was earlier, cooing really loudly on the fence that divides the backyards.
